The Office of Marketing and Communications is located on the second floor of Francis Hall on the East End of campus. During the academic year, our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The ceremony, recognizing those who will complete their undergraduate and graduate degree requirements this semester, begins at 6 p.m. in the University Chapel in Doyle Hall.
McBee, who will also complete a minor in biology, transferred to St. Bonaventure after graduating from Genesee Community College in 2011. She is a resident assistant on campus and serves as a student ambassador for the Office of Admissions. She is also captain of the women’s club field hockey team, serves the campus Liturgy Group as a sacristan and Eucharistic minister, and volunteers as a parish intern through University Ministries, working with the youth group at St. Mary’s of the Angels Church in Olean.
McBee plans to continue her studies at St. Bonaventure, earn a master’s in mental health counseling, then join the Army and work with veterans with post traumatic stress disorder.
Also at the recognition ceremony, Dr. S. Alan Silliker, associate professor of counselor education, will give the faculty address.
University President Sr. Margaret Carney, O.S.F., S.T.D., will welcome the graduates and their families. Dr. Michael Fischer, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, will serve as master of ceremonies.
Dr. Peggy Y. Burke, associate provost and dean of graduate studies, will present the graduate students. Dr. Pauline Hoffmann, dean of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, will present the undergraduate students.
