ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — Magic will be in the air when the Norman Magic Experience returns to St. Bonaventure University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.
Following a successful, crowd-pleasing performance in April 2009, Norman Ng, an award-winning magician, will perform for the St. Bonaventure community at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.
According to its website, “The show is an exciting fusion of mind-blowing magic, hilarious comedy, and tons of audience participation.”
The event, organized by the Campus Activities Board (CAB), is open to St. Bonaventure students, faculty and staff, free of charge.
“We hadn’t had a magician on campus in a while, so we thought it would be a great new experience for the students,” said CAB president Melissa Gentile.
Norman Ng has been performing in the U.S. for 17 years at a variety of venues, including hundreds of college campuses. His shows are highly interactive, and he views them more as a conversation with the audience rather than a performance, according to his website.
About the University: Inspired for more than 150 years by the Catholic Franciscan values of individual dignity, community inclusiveness, and service, St. Bonaventure University cultivates graduates who are confident and creative communicators, collaborative leaders and team members, and innovative problem solvers who are respectful of themselves, others, and the diverse world around them.
