School and Teacher Programs

SchoolAndTeachProg2
Docent Francine Potter facilitates
a discussion about William Bliss Baker's "Morning After The Snow."

  SchoolAndTeachProg3
Allegany-Limestone art teacher Nicole Missel participates in a teacher seminar: Pay it Forward.

The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts offers a variety of pre-k through 12-grade education opportunities for area schoolchildren and teachers. The Arts Education staff works closely with teachers to organize tours and complement current curricula.

Scheduled visits include interactive tours, hands-on activities and creative art projects as well as inspirational connections to literature.

Docents encourage discussion about the art, artists, and culture represented in the artwork from our permanent and special exhibitions. Thank you to the CUTCO foundation, Five Star Bank, The Lucy Gilligan Fund and The Ink Well for making all of this possible.
