The Franciscan Institute Library consists of over 20,000 volumes, including manuscripts, incunabula, and an extensive microfilm deposit. This valuable library supports both the research and instructional program. It has made the University an important center for the study of Franciscan history and thought and for general medieval, philosophical, theological, and historical research.
