The School of Franciscan Studies offers a sabbatical semester program designed to assist persons seeking sabbatical time with a solid academic foundation. This sabbatical option allows for enrollment in courses either for credit or on an audit basis.
In addition, the sabbatical participant can choose a variety of spiritual, cultural and fine arts offerings that are organized in response to individual needs and desires. Both the Mt. Irenaeus and Allegany Franciscan Ritiro communities provide solitude experiences and retreat opportunities to participants. The campus Fitness Center is also available to sabbatical students.
The sabbatical semester coordinator will coordinate the Reflection Seminar and facilitate the organization of each participant’s sabbatical plan.
Contact the Coordinator for Education Services for brochures and application assistance.
