Shawn B. Sood

Shawn B. SoodMy goal is to become a physician.
St. Bonaventure couldn't be a better place to help me achieve my goal.

St. Bonaventure University offers a plethora of health care opportunities. Currently, I am in a dual-degree program with George Washington University School of Medicine (GWUSM). I chose St. Bonaventure University because I knew that my time here would allow me to mature and become well prepared for medical school.

Our science department offers a wide variety of courses taught by knowledgeable professors who love to teach. At GWUSM some of the courses I will have to take include Biochemistry, Immunology, Neurobiology, and Human Anatomy and Physiology.

All of these courses are offered at SBU and taking them here will help me become better prepared and ready for medical school. Additionally, Clare courses along with the community atmosphere and care seen throughout the campus have opened my mind to a variety of issues which will help me to become a more compassionate doctor.

Besides staying on top of my school work, I enjoy playing racquetball and basketball. The basketball games at the Bob Lanier Court are a blast and I never miss a home game! I also love hanging out with friends at the Hickey Dining Hall or Cafe La Verna. I appreciate how students on campus are not cut-throat and that we all work together to help each other achieve our goals.
