Sunday, July 28 - Aug. 3, 2013
Tasty and healthy nutrition, cooking lessons, growing your own food, stress free relaxation, and enjoyable physical activity: How is it possible to fit all of these fun educational experiences into only one week?
The Holistic Health Camp will provide students with opportunities to enhance their intellectual minds and physical bodies through educational sessions conducted by SBU faculty. Local health professionals will also share their knowledge of career options to give you a jumpstart on the vast number of job choices in the health care field. Bring your chef’s hat, your sneakers and your curiosity to see what we can whip up during your stay at SBU.
Instructor: Claire Watson, Lecturer in the Department of Physical Education
