Community Leadership Camp

Sunday, July 28 - Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 

This camp is designed for youths who are interested in becoming leaders in service to their communities.

Participants will develop leadership and team building skills as they learn about the fundamental social and economic issues that face most communities.

The week will include visits to area nonprofit organizations, a service project chosen by the group, and each participant will explore and develop a grant application that can be used to initiate a project in his or her own community.  

The Community Leadership Camp is taught by a team of instructors led by Larry Sorokes.

Cost, Registration and Contacts

For the Community Leadership Camp in 2013, the cost of the residential camp is $600, while the cost of the day camp is $350. To register for Community Leadership Camp, click on the REGISTER NOW! button below. The registration deadline is July 1.

Thanks to a grant from Time Warner Cable's Connect a Million Minds program, local teens in the Time Warner service area may be eligible for reduced registration fees. Contact Larry Sorokes (details below) for more information.
