Faculty from St. Bonaventure’s English and Computer Science departments are teaming up to help young authors bring their stories to life with computer animation.

The morning sessions will help campers develop their narrative writing skills.

Where does this character fit into the story?Afternoon sessions will be devoted to the Storytelling Alice program, a software tool that can turn a self-created story into animation.

Among your instructors will be two longtime St. Bonaventure faculty members, Dr. Lauren Matz, professor of English, and Dr. Dalton Hunkins, professor of computer science.

 

Cost, Registration and Contacts

For the Computer Animation and Narrative Writing Camp in 2013, the cost of the residential camp is $600, while the cost of the day camp is $350. To register for the Computer Animation and Narrative Writing Camp, click on the REGISTER NOW! button below. The registration deadline is July 1. 

 

Thanks to a grant from Time Warner Cable's Connect a Million Minds program, local teens in the Time Warner service area may be eligible for reduced registration fees. Contact Larry Sorokes (details below) for more information.
