Get ready for the best summer ever ~ and make summer camp at St. Bonaventure University part of it!
Choose from among eight academic camps and spend some time this summer pursuing your passion, from science and writing, to holistic health and a mission to Mars.
Residential and day-camp options are available. As resident campers, students are on campus through the week and stay in residence hall rooms overnight. Those attending day camp do not stay overnight, but return to campus for camp activities each day.
The cost for the residential camp is $600. The day-camp fee is $350.
Camps will start either the week of July 21, 2013, or the week of July 28, 2013. On the first day, students will have room assignment, orientation and team building games. Classes will begin the following day.
The sessions will end after a noon closing ceremony on Saturday.
Please select the camp topics at the right and view their web pages for specific dates, costs and a description of what to expect.
Housing, Meals & Supervision
Meals will be served in the university’s main dining hall, Hickey Dining Hall. Students will stay in secure university residence halls with males and females housed on separate floors.
Camp advisers, who are upper-class college students, will provide out-of-class supervision and be supported by the university’s 24-hour Safety and Security Office.
Evening Activities
We have your down-time booked, too! When students are not in class, they’ll have a chance to get together with other campers for evening activities:
- splash in the pool or work out in our recreation center
- ice cream/movie night
- karaoke night
- “Night @ the Museum”
- barbecue, field games and a bonfire
