| St. Bonaventure University has long valued the military veteran as a member of the campus community.
Veterans hold key administrative positions at the university, and, as students, bring unique life experiences, maturity and leadership into the classroom.
We are proud of our designation by G.I. Jobs magazine as a Military Friendly School, a distinction reserved for only 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools across the nation.
Jim DiRisio, director of undergraduate admissions at St. Bonaventure and a proud veteran himself, said being selected as a Military Friendly School is recognition of the university's commitment to addressing veterans' needs.
Rich McCormack, publisher of G.I. Jobs, which publishes the annual Military Friendly Schools honor roll, said the list serves as the "trusted friend" veterans need to help them decide where to go to school.
